MÄRZ' Own Production
MÄRZ has produced in its own factories since 1920. This has made it possible to conserve and develop the knowledge gained over the decades. This is one of the conditions needed to ensure that every single MÄRZ sweater lives up to MÄRZ’ high quality standards.

Premium Quality Raw Materials
MÄRZ uses only premium quality raw materials. MÄRZ’ textile technologists regularly conduct quality tests on the yarn and the knitted fabrics. A yarn is only permitted for production if it fulfils the high quality standards. All articles such as zippers, buttons, etc. are ecologically friendly.

Reliable Sizes
MÄRZ calculates the measurements of a sweater for every single size so that the mesh is exact. (there are no indeterminate sizes). This allows for the individual proportions of every single size to be taken into account. This guarantees that every sweater in every size is a perfect fit.

Even Mesh Structure
A MÄRZ sweater has next to no pilling due to its even and firm mesh structure. There are no visible signs of fabric distortion, even after repeated washing.

Perfect Size of the Garment
Every single MÄRZ sweater is cut by hand. Every cut is first marked with chalk and then carefully cut mesh by mesh. This guarantees the perfect fit of both collar and  buttonhole facing, (which means there will be no fabric distortion after washing)

Long-Lasting Stretch of the Seams
MÄRZ uses the complex chain warp method, in which the collar and buttonhole facing are fitted with the body of the sweater mesh by mesh. The seams then perfectly fit to the knitting, stay stretch and don’t rip. This process is very time-consuming and demands high quality craftsmanship of the looper.

MÄRZ Buttons Stay On
After sewing on the buttons, the button shank is wrapped and locked. This makes the MÄRZ button firm and safe. MÄRZ developed this special technique and owns a protection of utility patents.

Perfect Fit of the Polo Collar
The MÄRZ polo collar fits perfectly, even under jackets due to an integrated shaft. It guarantees that the collar still fits after washing and allows no fabric distortion to occur.

Strict Quality Controls
In order for a sweater to become a real MÄRZ sweater, it must undergo certain steps of production and pass a set of quality controls. The sweater will only be put on sale and carry the name MÄRZ, if all steps have been passed to satisfaction.
